Project: “Prometheus” #1 (Nov Issue)

Objectives (Updated: 10/16/07)
  • (Running) Find an illustrator
  • (Running) Study the 1920s to get a feel for the era; look at photos, read blurbs and newspaper clippings, especially for areas our characters are going to be in
  • (Running) Think of a name for our publication and collaborative story
  • (Complete!) Develop a setting for the collaborative story
  • (Complete!) Establish what story (if any) you’d like to submit as your collaborative story
  • (Complete!) Establish what story (if any) you’d like to submit as your solo story
  • (Complete!) Think of how you’d like to write your portion of the collaborative project. (Characters, point of view, etc.)
  • (Complete!) Finish plotting the first chapter of your collaborative story
  • (Complete!) Finish plotting the first chapter of your solo story
  • (DUE SAT 10/20) 1st draft of your author bio
  • (DUE SUN 10/21) Finish copy of collaborative story’s first chapter
  • (DUE SAT 10/28) Finish copy of solo story’s first chapter
  • (DUE WED 10/31) Edit all magazine copy, establish magazine layout and digitally edit magazine
  • (DUE THU 11/01) Print and distribute
